One-off commissions on any surface
Some of Matthew Jackson's most enjoyable work falls outside the standard mural-or-renovation buckets — custom commissions on whatever the client brings: skateboards, surfboards, school buses, sculptures, vehicles, signage, instruments, and more.
Custom commissions are quoted on a per-project basis. Subject matter ranges from anime and pop culture (DBZ, Goku) to classic surf and beach themes, tribal and tiki designs, and fully bespoke concepts developed with the client. The constraint is rarely the surface — Matthew has painted on wood, fiberglass, metal, plaster, foam, canvas, glass, and concrete.
Recent custom projects include:
- Hand-painted skateboard decks (collector pieces and commissions)
- Custom surfboard art for surf shops and private owners
- Full-vehicle wraps and school bus paintings
- Sculpture painting and dimensional finishes
- Tiki, anime, and pop-culture themed commissions
